Men and Masculinities have been dominating the societies of the world since inception, establishing gender disparities and atrocities. Unfortunately, these atrocities against women continue in most of the societies till date. It’s high time for the societies and women to deconstruct the patriarchal standards. We need better space for all the genders and an inclusive society.

This book discusses the deconstruction of masculinities, exploring different platforms and ideologies that have been constructing it.

Madhushri Kallimani has been working as an Assistant Professor of English at Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, Karnataka, since ten years. Her interests are Children’s literature, Masculinity Studies and Feminism. She has attained a doctorate on “Fantasy and Children’s Fiction in Modern India: A Study of Rabindranath Tagore and Ruskin Bond”. She is a feminist and has published a book titled Femismo: An Anthology of Poems.
