The book entitled “3D printing technology: fundamentals and applications” mainly covers the following.
The book is aimed at learners of the 3D printing area, particularly, students. The topic of 3D printing has yet not percolated in education as part of the syllabus or routine learning module. But, shortly educational institutes will go for this. This book will help such institutes to adopt this book as a material resource.
Keeping in mind the popularity and cost, FDM-type 3D printers are detailed more in this book. Right from the purchase of such kits or affordable printers, the making of objects is discussed. How to make one’s 3D models of the object is also covered through some software.
To make aware the readers that 3D printers have an endless scope of making objects, different applications are discussed.
The author is hopeful that this book will satisfy the need to gain primary knowledge of 3D printing technology.
